Kimbolton is a small village in the countryside of New Zealand. You can find it north of Feilding, in the Manawatū District on the North Island.

This village got its name from a place in England called Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. That English village has a famous castle, Kimbolton Castle, which used to belong to the Duke of Manchester. Long ago, Kimbolton in New Zealand was even called Birmingham, just like the big city in England.

The land and weather around Kimbolton are perfect for growing beautiful flowers called rhododendrons. There are two special rhododendron gardens nearby. One of these is Heritage Park, which was once the main garden for the New Zealand Rhododendron Association. A lot of its beauty was created by John Stuart Yeates.

In Kimbolton, you can find a cafe, a place to play bowls, a special area for native plants, and a rugby field. The small farming settlement of Āpiti is about 15 kilometers northeast of Kimbolton.
