King Solomon High School is a school in Barkingside, Greater London, England. It is a Modern Orthodox Jewish comprehensive school. This means it welcomes students from all backgrounds. The school opened in 1993. Its first headmaster was Mr Alastair Falk.
The school teaches Jewish Studies to all students. It also offers a two-week trip to Israel for students in Year 9. Older students in Year 12 can go on a one-week trip to Poland.
School History and Name
King Solomon High School has had several headteachers over the years. Mr Alastair Falk was the first. Later, Spencer Lewis became headteacher in 2007. Jo Shuter took over in 2013. After her, Dr Doherty was the acting headteacher for a while.
In 2016, the school's name changed to Kantor King Solomon High School. This was after donations from Dr Moshe Kantor. However, the school's name was later changed back to King Solomon High School.
