Klippan Municipality (which means Klippans kommun in Swedish) is a local area in southern Sweden. It is part of Skåne County. The main town and administrative center of the municipality is called Klippan.
This municipality was created in 1974. It was formed by joining the market town of Klippan (which became a town in 1945) with a rural area called Riseberga and part of Östra Ljungby.
Part of the beautiful Söderåsen National Park is located within Klippan Municipality. This park is a great place to explore nature.
