Knowlton is a small town located in Marathon County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It is part of the larger Wausau area. In 2010, about 1,910 people lived here.
Several smaller communities are found within the town of Knowlton. These include Dancy and Knowlton itself. Parts of Ashley and Rocky Corners are also in the town. Knowlton was officially established in 1859.
