Konrad Cunha Dantas (born September 13, 1988), known as KondZilla, is a famous Brazilian director. He is also a screenwriter. He started KondZilla Records. This company makes music videos and is a record label. It helped make funk ostentação music very popular.
KondZilla owns the biggest YouTube channel in Brazil. It is also the largest in Latin America. It is the third largest music channel in the world. As of February 2025, it has over 67 million subscribers. It also has more than 38 billion views. Besides music videos, he created and directed the Netflix show Sintonia.
Many artists have worked with KondZilla. These include funk, rock, and rap artists. Some famous names are MC Guimê, Mr. Catra, Charlie Brown Jr., and Racionais MC's.
About KondZilla's Early Life
Konrad Dantas was born in Guarujá, São Paulo, Brazil. His mother was a teacher. His father worked as a bricklayer. When he was 18, he worked as a web designer. This was at a university in Santos.
At 18, his mother passed away. She left him some money from her life insurance. He used some of this money to buy a special camera. It was a Canon EOS 5D. He wanted to start a career in making videos. Later, Dantas moved to the city of São Paulo. There, he studied how to make movies. He also learned about editing videos and photography.
KondZilla's Career Journey
In 2017, KondZilla Records became part of Dantas's production company. This company had been around since 2011. The record label helps manage the careers of many artists. They also release their music videos on KondZilla's YouTube channel.
KondZilla has produced over 1000 music videos. His YouTube channel has more than 67 million subscribers. This is a huge number of people! On February 3, 2018, his channel became the largest Brazilian channel on YouTube. It passed Whindersson Nunes in subscriber count.
KondZilla also directed music DVDs. One was Música Popular Caiçara for the rock band Charlie Brown Jr.. He also directed Imagination for MC Boy of Charmes.
