Konstantinos "Kostas" Tsimikas (born 12 May 1996) is a Greek professional footballer. He plays as a left-back for the Premier League club Liverpool. He also plays for the Greece national team.
Before joining Liverpool, Tsimikas played for Olympiacos in Greece. He also spent time on loan at Esbjerg in Denmark and Willem II in the Netherlands.

Playing for Clubs
Starting His Football Journey
Kostas Tsimikas was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He grew up in the village of Lefkonas. He started playing football for his local village team. When he was 14, he joined AS Neapoli Thessaloniki.
In 2013, he moved to Panserraikos. He scored 5 goals for them during the 2013–14 season.
Time at Olympiacos
Tsimikas made his first team debut for Olympiacos on 19 December 2015. This was in a Super League match.
Loan to Esbjerg
On 28 December 2016, Tsimikas went on loan to the Danish club Esbjerg. He played there until the end of the 2016–17 season. In his very first game for Esbjerg on 17 February 2017, he scored a goal. Esbjerg won that game 3–0. He played 13 games for them before returning to Olympiacos.
Loan to Willem II
On 30 June 2017, Tsimikas went on another loan. This time, he joined the Dutch club Willem II for a season. He played almost every game, starting 32 out of 34 matches. He also scored 5 goals for them.
In a cup game, his free kick helped Willem II win. He even scored a spectacular "scorpion kick" goal. This goal was voted the Goal of the Month for March 2018. He was also named the Eredivisie Rookie of the Month.
Back at Olympiacos
After his loan, coach Pedro Martins decided to keep Tsimikas at Olympiacos. In November 2018, he set up a goal in a Europa League match. Both he and the goal scorer were named in the UEFA Europa League Team of the Week. He signed a new contract to stay with the club until 2023.
Joining Liverpool
On 11 August 2020, Tsimikas signed with Liverpool. He was the second Greek player to join Liverpool. He made his first appearance for Liverpool on 24 September 2020. This was in an EFL Cup game, which Liverpool won 7–2.
On 14 August 2021, he started his first league game for Liverpool. They won 3–0 against Norwich City. A week later, he helped set up a goal in a 2–0 win against Burnley. He was named man-of-the-match for his great performance.
In April 2022, Tsimikas was a star in a Champions League quarter-final. He provided two assists and was named Player of the Match. This helped Liverpool reach the semi-finals.
On 14 May 2022, Liverpool played Chelsea in the FA Cup final. The game was tied 0–0 after extra time. Tsimikas came on as a substitute and scored the winning penalty kick. He later said he chose to take the seventh penalty because he wanted to win the game.
On 25 September 2023, Tsimikas signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool. In December 2023, he broke his collarbone during a league game. He later played in the 2024 EFL Cup final. In that game, he assisted the winning goal from a corner kick.
Playing for Greece
Tsimikas was first called up to the Greece senior team in October 2018. He made his international debut on 12 October. In that game, he helped set up the only goal, which Greece won 1–0.
