Kota Fukatsu (深津 康太, Fukatsu Kōta, born 10 August 1984) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a defender for Iwate Grulla Morioka.

Kota Fukatsu's Football Journey
Kota Fukatsu was born on August 10, 1984, in Inzai, Chiba, Japan. He grew up loving football and started his journey in youth teams. He played for Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School from 2000 to 2002. This was where he developed his skills as a defender.
Early Career and First Teams
Kota began his professional career in 2003 with Nagoya Grampus Eight. He played a few matches for them. In 2005, he went on loan to Mito HollyHock. There, he played in 39 games and scored 3 goals. This was a great chance for him to gain more experience.
After returning to Nagoya Grampus Eight, he also had a short time with Kashiwa Reysol in 2006. He then joined FC Gifu in 2007, where he played for two seasons. He was a regular player, appearing in 56 matches and scoring 4 goals.

From 2009 to 2010, Kota played for FC Machida Zelvia. He was an important part of their defense, playing 56 games and scoring 3 goals. After that, he moved to Tokyo Verdy for two seasons, from 2011 to 2012. He continued to show his strong defensive skills, playing in 49 matches and scoring 4 goals.
