Kre-O is a cool line of building toys made by a company called Oxford in South Korea. Hasbro, a big toy company, sells them around the world. These toys first came out in stores in the fall of 2011. The name Kre-O comes from a Latin word, creo, which means "I create." It's all about building and creating your own adventures!
Kre-O sets come with special action figures called "Kreons." These figures look like people and can move their arms and legs. Kre-O building blocks also work with Lego bricks and Lego minifigures. This means you can mix and match them with other popular building brands too.

Build Your Own Transformers with Kre-O
The first ever Kre-O toys were based on the super popular Transformers series. They were first shown to everyone in February 2011. Transformers Kre-O figures look like characters from the live-action movies and different cartoon shows.
G.I. Joe Kre-O Adventures
Kre-O G.I. Joe toys were released in February 2013. You could find them only at Toys "R" Us stores. This collection is mostly based on the classic G.I. Joe cartoons and comic books. Some sets even include "Adventure Team" Kreons!
Blast Off with Star Trek Kre-O
Kre-O Star Trek sets came out in April 2013. The first toys and Kreons were based on the 2009 movie and its sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness. Hasbro even posted a fun video online showing the U.S.S. Enterprise spaceship being built with Kre-O bricks.
You could also see the finished Enterprise model at a toy fair. It even had a part that flipped up to show the ship's bridge! Some of the Kreons included famous characters like Kirk, Spock, and Sulu.
Cityville Invasion Kre-O Sets
Kre-O Cityville Invasion is another line of sets. These are based on the popular CityVille online game. This line introduced something cool called "Sonic Motion Technology." This technology makes special Kre-O bricks move when you build them.
Dungeons & Dragons Kre-O Quests
Kre-O Dungeons & Dragons toys were released in January 2014. This line is based on the very popular role-playing game series. You can build your own fantasy adventures with these sets!
Trolls Kre-O Fun
In early 2017, Hasbro launched a new line of Kre-O products. These toys were based on the fun and colorful Trolls movie.
