Kulnura is a small, quiet area located in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It's a bit like a countryside town, found north of Mangrove Mountain. It's part of the Central Coast Council, which helps manage the local area.

The name "Kulnura" comes from an Aboriginal word. It means "in sight of the sea" or "up in the clouds." Early settlers gave it this name in 1914. About 600 people live here. Many work in farming, growing fruit or raising cattle. Some people travel to bigger towns like Gosford or Wyong for work.

Kulnura is also home to the Mangrove Creek Dam. This dam is the biggest water supply for the entire Central Coast. It can hold a huge amount of water, about 190,000 million litres!

Where is Kulnura?

Kulnura covers a wide area. It stretches from Bloodtree Road in the south to the Great Northern Road in the north. To the west, it includes the Mangrove Creek Dam. To the east, it goes down Bumble Hill Road, and to the southeast, it reaches Red Hill Road.

Kulnura also has its own school. You can find Kulnura Public School on Williams Road.

Bloodtree Festival

Each year, Kulnura hosts a special event called the Bloodtree Festival. This festival is a fun celebration of life in the Mangrove Mountain area, which is close to Kulnura. It's a time for the community to come together.
