Ky Baldwin is a talented Australian artist born on April 10, 2001. He is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and even a parkour athlete! Many people know him from his popular music videos on his YouTube channel.
Early Life
Ky Baldwin was born in Sydney, Australia, in April 2001. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing sports. At six years old, he started tap dancing with a group called "Tap Pups." After that, he learned other dance styles like hip hop and jazz.
Acting Career
Ky started acting at age seven. He performed in a show called Madame Butterfly at the famous Sydney Opera House. He also acted in other plays, including Love Never Dies by Andrew Lloyd Webber. He played Michael Banks in Disney's Mary Poppins in Auckland, New Zealand.
When he was nine, Ky showed off his tap dancing skills on Australia's Got Talent. He became the youngest semi-finalist that year.
Ky has appeared in several Australian TV shows. These include Spirited, East West 101, and Underbelly: Razor. He also voiced Little Nutbrown Hare in the animated series Guess How Much I Love You. In 2014, Ky was a semi-finalist on The Voice Kids, where he was part of Team Delta.
Ky played a young Peter Allen in the TV movie Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door. For this role, he won an AACTA Award for Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama and a Logie Award in April 2016.
He has worked with DreamworksTV and Disney Channel. He was even chosen as a Disney Diary Vlogger. He also helps DreamWorks with their "Songs That Stick" series.
In 2022, Ky co-starred in the Snow Day remake by Nickelodeon Movies. This movie started streaming on Paramount+ in December 2022.
Ky Baldwin now lives in Los Angeles, USA. He has also competed in World Chase Tag events as a parkour athlete.
Music Career
Ky Baldwin released his first music collection, called an EP, in 2014. It was titled "The Beginning." This EP had five original songs: "You Make Me Wanna Dance," "Do You Remember," "We're Young," "Lara," and "It's Time." It also included three cover songs.
In May 2017, Ky released "Just Dance." This was the first song from his second EP, "Dare to Believe." His song "Invisible" is a duet with Jillian Shea Spaeder. Jillian has also appeared in three of Ky's YouTube videos.
