Kyle Eric Hill, born on April 7, 1979, is a former professional basketball player from the United States. He was chosen by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2001 NBA draft. He was the 44th player picked overall. Soon after the draft, his NBA rights were traded to the Houston Rockets. Kyle Hill never played in an NBA game. He is one of eight players from the 2001 NBA Draft who did not play in the league.

Early Life and College Basketball
Kyle Hill grew up in Chicago, Illinois. After his eighth-grade year, his mother moved him to Justice, Illinois. This move helped him focus on his studies and basketball.
High School Achievements
Hill attended Argo Community High School in Summit, Illinois. During his senior year, he was a star player. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. He was also named the most valuable player of the South Inter-Conference Association North Conference.
Playing for Eastern Illinois
Kyle Hill played college basketball at Eastern Illinois University. He helped lead the Panthers to a big event. They played in the 2001 NCAA tournament.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Kyle Hill was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks. He was the 44th pick in the 2001 NBA Draft. Instead of playing in the NBA, he went to Europe.
Playing in France
Hill signed with the French team ASVEL. He played in the Euroleague with another great player, Nikola Vujčić. He averaged 13.4 points per game and helped his team win the French Cup.
After ASVEL, Hill joined another French club, Pau-Orthez. There, he averaged 9.5 points in about 25 minutes per game.
Playing in Greece and Italy
Kyle Hill then played briefly for AEK Athens in Greece. After that, he moved to Italy to play for Lauretana Biella during the 2003–04 season. He had a great season with the Croatian club KK Zadar next.
Later European Teams
After playing for Zadar, Hill moved back to Italy. He joined the club Snaidero Udine. He played very well there, averaging over 15 points per game in the 2005–06 season.
Later, he moved to the Spanish team Girona. However, an injury to his achilles tendon kept him from playing much. In the 2007–08 season, Hill played five games with KK Bosna from Sarajevo. He then returned to Snaidero Udine. He finished that season playing alongside Jerome Allen and was coached by Cesare Pancotto again.
On March 1, 2010, Hill signed a contract with Hemofarm Vršac from Serbia. In 2012, Hill signed with Aguas de Sousas Ourense in Spain's third division, LEB Plata.
Coaching Career
After retiring from playing, Kyle Hill started coaching. He coaches in the Atlanta area. He works with a private coaching service called CoachUp.
