Kyle Thompson's Golf Career
Kyle Thompson was a member of the PGA Tour, which is a very important golf tour in the United States. He played on the PGA Tour in 2008, 2012, and 2018. Each time, he found it hard to keep his spot on the tour.
Playing on the Nationwide Tour
Before the PGA Tour, Thompson was part of the Nationwide Tour from 2003 to 2007. This tour is now called the Korn Ferry Tour. He won two events in 2007. These wins helped him get a spot on the PGA Tour for 2008.
After 2008, he went back to the Nationwide Tour in 2009. He won his fourth Web.com Tour event in 2015. This was the third time he won the Rex Hospital Open tournament. In January 2017, Thompson won his fifth Web.com Tour event. This win happened at The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic.
