Kyree Walker (born November 20, 2000) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Nalaikh Bison in The League. Kyree became well-known in high school. He was even named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year.

Kyree Walker's Early Basketball Journey
Kyree Walker started getting attention for his amazing slam dunks when he was in eighth grade. He often played against older players, even high school seniors. He played with his Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, the Oakland Soldiers.
High School Success
As a freshman, Kyree played basketball for Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California. He scored about 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and made 4 assists per game. His team did very well, finishing as runner-up in the California Interscholastic Federation Division II. Because of his great performance, he was named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year.
Before his sophomore year, Kyree moved to Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, Arizona. His father, Khari, even joined the coaching staff there. Kyree finished high school in December 2019. He decided not to play high school basketball during his senior year while he thought about his next steps.
College Plans and Decisions
On June 30, 2017, Kyree first decided to play college basketball for Arizona State. Many other top colleges also wanted him to play for them. At that time, he was considered one of the best players in the 2020 class. However, on October 21, 2018, Kyree changed his mind and decided not to go to Arizona State. Later, on April 20, 2020, he announced that he would not play college basketball at all. Instead, he chose to go straight to professional basketball.
Kyree Walker's Professional Career
After high school, Kyree Walker began his professional basketball journey. He joined a program called Chameleon BX to get ready for the 2021 NBA draft.
Starting in the G League
For the 2021–22 season, Kyree signed with the Capital City Go-Go. This team is part of the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA. He joined them after doing well in a tryout.
Playing in Different Leagues
In December 2022, Kyree moved to Greece to play for Aias Evosmou in the Greek A2 Basket League.
In June 2023, he joined the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). He even became a CEBL champion with them in 2023!
In January 2024, Kyree started playing for the IHC Apes in The League in Mongolia.
He returned to the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the CEBL in May 2024. Then, in June 2024, he signed with another CEBL team, the Ottawa BlackJacks.
Most recently, on November 27, 2024, Kyree Walker joined the Nalaikh Bison, also in The League. He is currently playing for them.
