Lärbro is the name of the town that surrounds the old medieval Lärbro Church. Sometimes people call this specific area Lärbro kyrkby, which means Lärbro church village.
The town is located in the northern part of Gotland. It is about 8 kilometers (5 miles) north of another town called Slite.

Lärbro's Past
From 1921 to 1960, Lärbro had a railway connection that linked it to the city of Visby. This made it easier for people and goods to travel.
Today, a big part of Lärbro's income comes from tourism. Many visitors come to see the area's history and beauty. You can also find the ruins of the Gann Church in Lärbro, which is another interesting historical site.
