One special fresco in the church is called "The Dictation of the Three Dead and the Three Alive." It was painted in 1585. This fresco tells a story. It shows three dead people and three living people. It reminds people about life and death.

La Bazouge-de-Chemeré has a history of local industries. One example is the Fortinière lime kiln. A lime kiln is a special oven. It was used to heat limestone. This process made lime. Lime was used for building and farming.
