La Brévière was once a small village, also known as a commune, located in northwestern France. It was part of the Calvados department in the Normandy region.
On January 1, 2016, La Brévière joined with other nearby villages to form a new, larger commune called Val-de-Vie. This means it is no longer a separate commune but is now part of a bigger community.
