Music Style
La Dispute's music is mainly post-hardcore and experimental rock. This means their songs often mix loud, energetic parts with more unusual sounds. They also include elements of blues music and spoken word in their songs.
Sometimes, their music sounds like screamo, which is a very intense style of rock. They are also influenced by bands like Thursday and At the Drive-In. Brad Vander Lugt, the drummer, has also said that blues and jazz music inspire him.
