La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band. They formed in 2004 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band has released two main albums and several shorter recordings called EPs.

The current members are Jordan Dreyer (who sings), Brad Vander Lugt (who plays drums), Chad Sterenberg and Kevin Whittemore (who play guitars), and Adam Vass (who plays bass).

Music Style

La Dispute's music is mainly post-hardcore and experimental rock. This means their songs often mix loud, energetic parts with more unusual sounds. They also include elements of blues music and spoken word in their songs.

Sometimes, their music sounds like screamo, which is a very intense style of rock. They are also influenced by bands like Thursday and At the Drive-In. Brad Vander Lugt, the drummer, has also said that blues and jazz music inspire him.
