La Magdalena Chichicaspa is a town located in the State of Mexico. It's part of the Huixquilucan area. This town is right on the northern edge of the municipality, next to Naucalpan. It's also home to the Bosque Real Country Club.

History of La Magdalena Chichicaspa
Long ago, before European settlers arrived, the Otomi people lived in this area. They were the first inhabitants of Chichicaspa.
Early Buildings and Religion
In the 1700s, a small chapel was built in Chichicaspa. This chapel was dedicated to Mary Magdalene. With the chapel came Franciscan monks, who helped spread Christianity in the region.
During the Mexican Revolution
The Mexican Revolution was a big fight for change in Mexico. During this time, two important people from La Magdalena Chichicaspa, Isidoro Silva and Macario Gutiérrez, helped the famous leader Emiliano Zapata. They gathered men and horses from their town to join Zapata's army.
Later Discoveries and Buildings
In the 1960s, Constantino Gutiérrez found a mine in an area called "Las Campanitas." This mine had lots of sand and gravel. Today, this land is owned by the community, known as an ejido.
A larger church, called the Parroquia de Santa María Magdalena
, was officially opened in 1978.Traditional Foods

Mexican Federal Highway 134: This road connects Naucalpan and Toluca.
State Highway 6: This highway goes between Tenango and La Marquesa.
Local Celebrations
The people of La Magdalena Chichicaspa love to celebrate! They have two big fairs each year:
- One fair celebrates Mary Magdalene on July 22.
- The other fair celebrates the Immaculate Conception on July 8.
