La Robla is a town and a municipality in Spain. It is located in the province of León, which is part of the Castile and León region. In 2020, about 3,752 people lived there. This number comes from the official census by the INE.
Long ago, the area around La Robla was very important for mining. People dug for valuable minerals there. A special train route connected La Robla to Bilbao. This train line was key for trading goods and helping the region grow. Today, you can even take a fancy passenger train on a narrow-gauge railway from La Robla. It visits many interesting tourist places along the way [1].
