Karim Zenoud (born April 19, 1985), known by his stage name Lacrim, is a French rapper. He has Algerian family roots. Many of his fans call themselves "Lacriminals."

Early Life
Karim Zenoud was born in Paris, France. His parents were immigrants from Algeria. Both of his parents are from the Kabyle people, an ethnic group in Algeria. His father's family comes from Sidi Daoud, and his mother's family is from Béjaïa. He is also the grandson of a famous actress named Ouardia Hamtouche.
Karim lived in the 13th area of Paris for his first five years. After that, his family moved to Chevilly-Larue, a town south of Paris.
His Music Journey
Lacrim started his music career by working with other rappers. In May 2012, he released his first album called Faites entrer Lacrim. Later that year, in December 2012, he put out a mixtape named Toujours le même.
His next two albums were very successful. Corleone, released in 2014, and Force & Honneur, released in 2017, both reached the number one spot on the French Albums Chart. This means they were the most popular albums in France when they came out!
Lacrim also released a series of mixtapes called R.I.P.R.O. He released two of these in 2015 and a third one in 2017. These mixtapes were also very popular with his fans.
