Laia Palau's Club Career

Laia Palau started her professional basketball journey with Universitari de Barcelona in 1997. She played there until 2004, winning one league title. In 2004, she moved to France to play for Bourges Basket. With Bourges, she won a league title and two French Cups.

Playing in Spain and Poland

After her time in France, Laia returned to Spain. She joined Ros Casares Valencia in 2006 and stayed there until 2012. This was a very successful period! She helped her team win five Spanish league titles and four Spanish Cups. The biggest win was the 2011–12 EuroLeague Women title in 2012, which is a huge European competition.

After Ros Casares Valencia decided to stop playing in the top league, Laia moved to Poland. In the 2012-2013 season, she played for CCC Polkowice. There, she won both the Polish Championship and the Polish Cup. She also did very well in the EuroLeague Women 2012–13, leading all players in assists (6.4 per game).

Success in the Czech Republic and Australia

From 2013 to 2017, Laia played for USK Praha in the Czech Republic. She continued her winning streak, helping them win the 2014–15 EuroLeague Women title. They also won four Czech league titles and two Czech Cups.

In 2017, after playing professionally in Europe for 20 years, Laia tried something new. She signed with the Australian team Jayco Rangers. In January 2018, she returned to France and rejoined Bourges Basket. She helped them win both the French League and the French Cup that season.

Back to Spain

Later in 2018, Laia came back to Spain and signed with Spar CityLift Girona. She helped them win the Spanish league title in 2019 and the Spanish Cup in 2021.
