Lake Anita State Park is a fun place to visit in Iowa, USA. It's a state park with a big lake, about 171 acres in size. This lake is actually a reservoir, which is like a man-made lake, built on a part of the Nishnabotna River. You can find the park just south of the town of Anita, right off Iowa State Highway 148. The park was officially opened in 1961.

Camping and Picnics

Lake Anita State Park has a sandy beach where you can swim and cool off. There are also two boat ramps to launch your boat. All boats must go at a "no-wake" speed. This means boats must go slowly so they don't create big waves. You can also rent docks for your boat during the season.
