This community is built around a beautiful lake that shares its name. It's located in the southeastern part of Clinton County. Lake Arrowhead is about 4 miles south of Lathrop, Missouri and 3 miles north of Holt, Missouri. It's also about 33 miles northeast of the big city of Kansas City, Missouri. The mail for Lake Arrowhead comes through the Lathrop post office.
Lake Arrowhead was first recognized as a CDP before the 2020 United States census. This means it was officially counted as a specific area for the first time then. The community is run by the Lake Arrowhead Property Owners Association. This group includes all property owners who are in good standing. They elect a volunteer Board of Trustees to manage the area. There are 2,058 lots in the entire community.

The land around Lake Arrowhead is quite hilly and covered with many trees. On the west side of the community, you'll find large grassy areas.
Roads and Access
Interstate 35 in Missouri runs along the eastern side of the Lake Arrowhead community. This major highway makes it easy to get to and from the area. Also, Missouri Route 33 goes north and south less than a mile west of the community.

Lake Arrowhead is full of fun things to do. It has several lakes and ponds, perfect for boating and fishing. There are also beaches for swimming and picnic areas for outdoor meals. The Lakes of Lake Arrowhead

- Lake Arrowhead is the biggest lake in the community. It has three places where you can launch boats, two docks for tying up boats, and one beach for swimming. There are also four public areas around this lake for everyone to enjoy.
- Spring Lake is a medium-sized lake that's great for fishing. It has two public areas and two beaches. You can use small fishing boats on Spring Lake, but their motors must be under 10 horsepower.
- Aspen Lake is the smallest of the three lakes. It has one public area and a swimming beach. No motorized boats are allowed on Aspen Lake, making it a very peaceful spot.

The homeowners association at Lake Arrowhead owns and takes care of many common areas. These are places around the lakes that all property owners can use, as long as they are in good standing with the association.
The association also maintains about 26 miles of gravel roads within the community. Near the main entrance gate, you'll find the Community Building. This building can be rented for different events and parties, making it a central spot for community activities.

If you own a lot in Lake Arrowhead, you can bring your camper trailer, tent, or RV to your own property. However, there are no public campgrounds within the community. This means you won't find public showers or restrooms specifically for campers in the subdivision.
Schools Serving the Community
Students living in Lake Arrowhead attend schools in two different school districts, depending on where they live in the community.
- The northern part of Lake Arrowhead is served by the Lathrop R-II School District.
