About Lake Heritage's Location
Lake Heritage is a neighborhood built around a large, human-made lake. This lake is about 154 acres big. It is located about 2 miles southeast of Gettysburg.
The Lake and Its Waterways
The water from Lake Heritage flows into a stream called White Run. This stream then joins Rock Creek. Rock Creek is one of the main streams that feed into the Monocacy River. The Monocacy River is part of the larger Potomac River system. This means the water from Lake Heritage eventually makes its way to the Potomac River.

The community of Lake Heritage is located at 39°48′44″N 77°10′58″W / 39.81222°N 77.18278°W. It actually stretches across three different local areas called townships. These are Straban, Mount Pleasant, and Mount Joy townships.
