Where is Lake Virginia?
This lake is located deep inside the John Muir Wilderness. This wilderness area is named after John Muir, a famous naturalist and conservationist. It is a protected area where nature is kept wild and untouched. You won't find roads or buildings here, only trails and natural landscapes.
Water Flow and Connections
Lake Virginia is part of a larger water system. It drains into Fish Creek. To "drain" means that water flows out of the lake and into this creek.
