Where is Lakeside City Located?

Lakeside City is in the northeastern part of Archer County. It sits right on the southern shore of Lake Wichita. The border between Archer County and Wichita County goes through Lake Wichita. The city of Wichita Falls is on the north side of this border. Downtown Wichita Falls is about 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Lakeside City.

Texas State Highway 79 touches the southeastern edge of the town. This highway goes northeast to Wichita Falls and southwest to Archer City, which is the county seat. The town covers an area of about 0.64 square miles (1.6 square kilometers), and all of it is land.
