Laura Omloop, born on May 18, 1999, is a talented pop singer from Belgium. She became well-known when she represented her country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009. This big music competition for young singers took place in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Laura sang a song called "Zo verliefd" (which means "So in Love"). What made her song special was that it included yodeling! Yodeling is a unique way of singing that involves quick changes between a normal voice and a high, clear voice. Laura finished in fourth place at the contest, which was Belgium's best result ever in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at that time.
