Leandro Montera da Silva, known simply as Leandro, is a talented Brazilian footballer. He was born on February 12, 1985. Leandro played as a striker, which means he was usually focused on scoring goals for his team.
Leandro played for many different clubs during his career. He spent time in Brazil, Japan, and Qatar. He was known for his goal-scoring ability.
Playing Career
Leandro started his football journey in Brazil. He played for youth teams like Corinthians and Nacional (SP). He began his senior career at Nacional (SP) in 2005.
Moving to Japan
In 2005, Leandro moved to Japan. He first played for Omiya Ardija on loan. The next year, in 2006, he was loaned to Montedio Yamagata. He had a very successful season there, scoring 23 goals in 40 games. This showed everyone how good he was at scoring!
From 2007 to 2008, Leandro played for Vissel Kobe. He continued to score many goals for them. In 2009, he joined Gamba Osaka, another Japanese club.
Time in Qatar
Later in 2009, Leandro moved to Qatar. He joined a team called Al-Sadd Sports Club. He played there for several years. In 2012, he had a short loan spell with Al Rayyan Sports Club, where he scored 4 goals in just 4 matches.
Return to Japan
After his time in Qatar, Leandro returned to Japan. He was loaned back to Gamba Osaka in 2012 and played there until 2013. He then joined Kashiwa Reysol in 2014.
Leandro returned to Vissel Kobe in 2015 for another period. He continued to be a key player for them. Towards the end of his career, he played for Tokyo Verdy from 2018 to 2020. He finished his career back at Nacional (SP) in 2021.

Leandro achieved some great things during his football career.
