History of Lebanon
The town of Lebanon has an interesting past. It was first planned out in 1887. When it was first created, it was called Webb. The name "Lebanon" most likely came from Lebanon, New York. However, some people believe it was named after Mount Lebanon, a famous mountain in Western Asia. The town was officially incorporated, meaning it became a recognized town, in 1917.
