Lee Woo-Jin (Hangul: 이우진) is a South Korean football player. He was born on April 25, 1986. He plays as a centre back, which is a defensive position in football. Currently, he plays for Jeju United.

Lee Woo-Jin has played for several clubs in both South Korea and Japan. Some of his past teams include Suwon Bluewings, Busan I'Park, Tokyo Verdy, and Júbilo Iwata.

Early Career and Club Journey

Lee Woo-Jin started his football journey in South Korea. He played for Suwon Bluewings from 2002 to 2003. During this time, he was still a young player learning the ropes.

Playing in Japan

In 2004, Lee Woo-Jin moved to Japan. He joined Tokyo Verdy, a club in the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. He played there for two seasons, gaining valuable experience. He scored his first goal for Tokyo Verdy.

After his time at Tokyo Verdy, he returned to South Korea. He played for Busan I'Park from 2006 to 2009. He then went back to Japan to play for Júbilo Iwata in 2010. He signed a three-year contract with them.

Later Club Moves

Lee Woo-Jin continued to move between clubs. In 2012, he joined Jeonbuk Hyundai. He also had loan spells with FC Machida Zelvia and Daejeon Citizen. A loan spell means he played for another team for a short time before returning to his main club. In 2015, he officially joined Daejeon Citizen.

Since 2016, he has been playing for Jeju United.

National Team Appearances

Youth National Teams

He played for the South Korea U-17 team in 2003. He then moved up to the South Korea U-20 team, where he played from 2003 to 2005. He made 22 appearances for the U-20 team and scored 3 goals.

Senior National Team

On June 3, 2009, Lee Woo-Jin made his debut for the senior South Korea team. He played in a game against the Oman national football team. This was a big moment in his career, showing he was one of the top players in his country.
