Leimiswil was once a small town, also known as a municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Oberaargau area of the Bern region.

On January 1, 2011, Leimiswil joined with two other towns, Kleindietwil and Madiswil. Now, it is part of the larger municipality of Madiswil.
