Leonard Alfred Fulford (born November 11, 1928 – died November 27, 2011) was a British commercial photographer and director. He was known for taking pictures of still life, which means photos of objects that don't move, like food or products.

Leonard Fulford was one of the people who started a company called BFCS. This company had studios in big cities like London, New York, and Milan. BFCS became one of the most successful companies for making commercials. They even won a big award called the Palme d'Or six times at the Cannes Advertising Festival.

Directing Famous Commercials

Fulford directed many popular television commercials. In the 1960s, he made the famous Go to work on an egg ads for the Egg Marketing Board. These ads were so well-known that people in the industry started calling him "the eggman."

He also directed many well-known Guinness television commercials in the 1970s and 1980s. Besides these, he created other memorable ads. One was for Courage Best beer, called 'Rabbit Rabbit'. Another was for Simple skincare, which showed robotic arms spraying a white lily with colors and perfume. This ad showed how gentle the product was.

Later Life and Legacy

Len Fulford stopped working in 1995. He lived in a part of England called East Anglia. He passed away in Friston, Suffolk, on November 27, 2011, when he was 83 years old. He had three sons. His wife, Gillian Fox, passed away in 2007. They had been married since 1953.
