Who was Len Waters?
Len Waters Estate was named to honour a very special person: Len Waters. He was the first Aboriginal Australian military aviator. This means he was the first Aboriginal person to become a pilot in the military. Naming the estate after him is a way to remember his important achievements.
How the Estate Developed
Before it became Len Waters Estate, this area was part of a larger place called Cecil Hills. Over time, a company called Mirvac developed the land. They built the industrial estate that you see today. The land where Len Waters Estate now stands used to be part of the Hoxton Park Airport.
