Lena is a small village located in Oconto County, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the larger Green Bay area. In 2010, the village had a population of 564 people. Lena is found within the area known as the Town of Lena.

History of Lena Village
The area where Lena is now located was first called Maple Valley. Its growth was largely due to the railroads that came through the region.
The first European family to settle here was Étienne Clement Roserens and his wife, Vitaline. They moved to the area in October 1872. Their daughter, Anna Rosera Hendricks, was the first white child born in the settlement. Rosera Street in Lena is named after their family.
Other early settlers arrived in the late 1870s. Many of them were French-Canadian immigrants. One of these immigrants was Samuel LeRoy, also known as Samuel King. He settled on land in 1872 and later gave some of his land for the first schoolhouse.
Many people in Maple Valley worked in logging, cutting down trees for wood. They often built their homes near Jones Creek, which flows into the Little River.
By 1879, the community had grown enough to need its own post office. However, the name "Maple Valley" was already used by another post office in Wisconsin. So, the postmaster from Oconto, George R. Hall, suggested a new name. He chose the first name of his future wife, Helena "Lena" Louisa McCartney. The name "Lena" was approved. Lena officially became a village in 1921.

Lena is located in Wisconsin. The United States Census Bureau says the village covers about 1.03 square miles (2.7 square kilometers) of land. There is no significant water area within the village limits.
Churches in Lena
Lena has been home to several churches over the years. The first church built in the village was the Seventh Day Adventist church in 1880. A Catholic church was built two years later, in 1882. A Methodist church followed in 1888. Later, in the early 1900s, a Lutheran church was also built.

According to the census taken in 2010, there were 564 people living in Lena. These people lived in 251 households, and 143 of these were families.

The average age of people in Lena was 37.8 years old. About 23.4% of residents were under 18. About 15.4% were 65 years old or older. The population was almost evenly split between males (50.4%) and females (49.6%).
