Leopoldo Augusto de Cueto y López de Ortega, also known as the 1st Marquis of Valmar, was an important Spanish figure. He was born in Cartagena, Spain, on July 16, 1815. He became a noble, a writer, a diplomat, and a politician. He passed away in Madrid, Spain, on January 12, 1901, at the age of 85.
