Lift is a fizzy drink made by The Coca-Cola Company. It has been available in many countries since the 1970s. These countries include Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Germany, Austria, Philippines, and parts of Eastern Europe.
Lift is a carbonated drink, meaning it has bubbles. It gets its taste from fruit juice. In Australia and New Zealand, the main flavor of Lift is lemon. However, in Germany and some other places, the most common flavor is apple.
Lift Apple and Lift Lemon were once special drinks. They were part of eight international soda flavors. You could taste them at Club Cool in Epcot, a fun theme park.

The Story of Lift
Lift in Australia and New Zealand
Lift first came to Australia and New Zealand in the 1990s. It took the place of another drink called Mello Yello. Before Mello Yello, there was a drink called Leed Lemon Soda Squash.
For a long time, the only flavor of Lift was Lemon. In 2015, it was briefly called Fanta Lemon Lift. Then, in 2016, it went back to being just Lift. At that time, its lemon flavor was changed to be more sour.
Lift stopped being sold in Australia in September 2022. A new lemon-flavored drink with caffeine replaced it. This new drink is called Sprite Lemon+. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners announced this change in September 2022.
Around that time, some people thought Lift would also stop being sold in New Zealand. But Coca-Cola quickly said that Lift would continue to be available there.
Lift in Germany
Lift was first introduced in Germany in 1974. The original German version had lemon juice.
In Germany, there is a popular version called Lift Apfelschorle. This drink is made with 55% apple juice mixed with water. It does not have any extra flavors added. There are also other versions, like Lift Apfel and Grapefruit. This one contains both apple and grapefruit juice.
Lift in the Philippines
Lift Lemon was launched in the Philippines in the early 1990s. However, it was stopped in the early 2000s. Another drink called Sparkle replaced it. This happened after Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines bought Cosmos Bottling Corporation.
In 2025, Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines brought Lift back to the Philippines. It is now sold in the Western Visayas and Negros Island Region areas. Lift now sells alongside another lemon drink called Royal Tru-Lemon.
