Marcus Lakee Edwards (born March 29, 1976), known as Lil' Keke, is an American rapper. He is a founding member of the Screwed Up Click, a famous hip hop group from the Southern United States.

About Lil' Keke's Music Journey
Starting His Career in Hip Hop
Lil' Keke began his music career in 1993. He became well-known for his song "Southside." This track was part of his 1997 album, Don't Mess Wit Texas.
In 2005, Lil' Keke joined Swishahouse Records. The president of the label, T. Farris, said that Lil' Keke was a "legend" in Houston. He played a big part in the style of rap music from that area. Lil' Keke also worked with DJ Screw early in his career, making special music mixes called mixtapes.
Giving Back to the Community
Lil' Keke also cares about his community. In 2016, he received an award from President Barack Obama. This award was for his efforts to help people in the Houston area.
