Lil Italy is an American rapper whose real name is Clifton Ray Dixon. He started his music journey as G-Note in a rap group called Funk Mobb. This group was signed to E-40's record label, Sick Wid It Records, from 1994 to 1998. After Funk Mobb broke up, he continued his career.
In 1998, he joined No Limit Records and changed his stage name to Lil Italy. He released his first album with them, called On Top of da World, in 1999. This album was quite popular, reaching number 99 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also featured other famous artists like Snoop Dogg. However, Lil Italy later left the label.
Lil Italy released his second album, Full Blown, in 2001 through an independent label called K-Lou. After that, he took a break from music for ten years. He returned in 2011 with a new release titled My Life. This album was available as a digital download.
