Lime Kiln Point State Park is a cool 42-acre state park in Washington. It's located on the west side of San Juan Island. This island is part of the beautiful San Juan Islands group.

This park is known as one of the best spots in the world to see wild orcas. You can watch these amazing whales right from the shore! The water here gets very deep very close to the land. This means whales can come super close, sometimes just 20 feet away. You might even see them jumping high out of the water (this is called breaching) or poking their heads up to look around (this is called spyhopping).

The park also has one of Friday Harbor's two lighthouses. There's also a stone lookout area with picnic tables. Long ago, starting in 1860, people used to make lime here. One of the old lime kilns has been fixed up for visitors to see.
