Linton Johnson III (born on June 13, 1980) is an American professional basketball player. He is married to a woman from Caserta, Italy. Because of this, he also has Italian citizenship.
Linton Johnson is related to another famous basketball player. He is the nephew of former NBA player Mickey Johnson.

Starting in College
Linton Johnson played college basketball for four years. He attended Tulane University. After college, he became a professional player.
Playing in the NBA
Johnson started his professional career in the 2003–04 NBA season. He was not chosen in the NBA draft, but he still joined the Chicago Bulls. He played 41 games for them, starting in 20 of those games.
Over his NBA career, he played for several teams. These included the Charlotte Bobcats, San Antonio Spurs, New Jersey Nets, New Orleans Hornets, and Phoenix Suns. He often signed short-term contracts, like 10-day deals.
In 2008, he signed with the Toronto Raptors. Later, he returned to the Phoenix Suns. In 2009, he had a second time playing for the Chicago Bulls. He was with them for the rest of that season.
Playing in Europe
After his time in the NBA, Johnson moved to Europe. In August 2010, he signed with an Italian team called Air Avellino. He played there for several years.
He continued his career in Italy with other teams. In 2013, he joined Dinamo Sassari. The next year, he played for Pallacanestro Varese.
In August 2014, he signed with Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia. He later played for Juvecaserta Basket in 2016.
In October 2016, he joined Scafati Basket. However, he soon returned to Juvecaserta Basket in January 2017. He has continued to play for various Italian teams since then.
