Lisa Carmella McClain was born on April 7, 1966. She is an American politician. Since 2021, she has served as a U.S. representative for Michigan. From 2021 to 2023, she represented Michigan's 10th congressional district. Since 2023, she has represented Michigan's 9th congressional district. Ms. McClain is a member of the Republican Party. She is a leader in Congress as the Chair of the House Republican Conference.

Early Life and Education

Lisa McClain grew up in Stockbridge, Michigan. She finished high school in Stockbridge in 1984. She went to Lansing Community College. Later, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University.

Before becoming a politician, Ms. McClain worked for American Express for 11 years. She also worked at the Hantz Group from 1998 to 2019.

2020 Election
