Lisa Rojany (born February 14, 1964) is an American author, editor, and publishing expert. She has written many books, especially for children and young adults.
She is known for co-writing Writing Children's Books for Dummies, a popular guide on how to write and publish books for kids. She also co-wrote Fund Your Future, which became a New York Times Bestseller for adults.
In 2009, she co-authored Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz with Eva Kor. This book was recognized as one of the best books for young readers by the American Booksellers Association. It has also received praise from places like the Candles Holocaust Museum and important figures like Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

About Lisa Rojany
Lisa Rojany was born on February 14, 1964, in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Avi Rojany, came to the U.S. from Israel and worked in business. Her mother, Mary Marks, is also an author and reviews mystery books.
Lisa has eight younger half-siblings and many nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Birmingham High School in 1982. She then attended UCLA, where she graduated with high honors in 1986.
After UCLA, she studied languages in Paris, France, at La Sorbonne Université and Alliance Française in 1986–1987. She later earned her Master's degree in English and American Literature from Brown University in 1991.
Lisa Rojany has worked for several well-known publishing companies, including Penguin RandomHouse and Golden Books. She also worked for Gateway Learning Corp, known for Hooked on Phonics.
She has three children named Olivia, Chloe, and Genevieve. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
Today, Lisa Rojany runs her own company, Editorial Services of Los Angeles. She is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of the New York Journal of Books. She is a member of important groups for writers, such as the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Authors Guild.
