This is a list of episodes from the exciting anime show Digimon Data Squad. It's the shortest series in the Digimon world, with 48 episodes. The show first aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 2006 to March 2007. Later, it came to the United States on Jetix from October 2007 to November 2008.
The Japanese version of the show uses two different opening songs. "Gou-ing! Going! My Soul!" was used for the first half. The second song, "Hirari," was used for the rest of the episodes.

As ShineGreymon Burst Mode and Marcus struggle, the other DATS and their Digimon arrive to help. Marcus uses his "human potential" to destroy Craniamon's shield. Craniamon lets them pass, realizing King Drasil might be wrong.

The DATS team climbs King Drasil's headquarters. Marcus, Agumon, and Gotsumon face King Drasil, but a force field stops Marcus. His friends' support helps him overpower King Drasil. Just as King Drasil is defeated, an old friend arrives. BanchoLeomon is freed, but Craniamon takes his place. The biggest shock: King Drasil is impersonating Spencer Damon, and BanchoLeomon is Marcus's real father!

Craniamon frees BanchoLeomon and takes his place to stop the Digital World from crashing into the Human World. BanchoLeomon reveals that he is Spencer Damon, Marcus's father, whose body was taken over by King Drasil. Spencer-BanchoLeomon explains King Drasil's plans and asks Marcus to sacrifice him and King Drasil to save the human world. Marcus does, but King Drasil reappears in his true form.

After Spencer and BanchoLeomon's sacrifice, King Drasil changes to a fighting mode and goes to the Real World to destroy it. The DATS team fights fiercely, but King Drasil is too strong, even against their Burst Digivolutions. Their strong bond to protect loved ones makes all humans and Digimon raise their DNAs. The Royal Knights rebel against King Drasil. King Drasil reveals he is the computer controlling all Digital World life. He starts turning Digimon into Digi-eggs. The Royal Knights help Craniamon hold up the Digital World for the final battle.

Everyone, humans and Digimon, uses their DNA power to help DATS. When all hearts become one, Marcus and Agumon activate Burst Mode and defeat King Drasil. King Drasil admits defeat, seeing the potential in humans and Digimon working together. The worlds stop colliding. DATS reunites with their families, and Spencer returns. The Digimon must go back to rebuild their world, which makes Marcus sad. Each DATS Digimon spends a last day with their human partners. Marcus decides to go with Agumon to the Digital World. Five years later, Kristy and Keenan are in middle school. Thomas wins the Nobel Prize for curing Relena. Yoshi becomes a police officer with Miki, Megumi, and Commander Sampson. Marcus and Agumon become peacemakers in the Digital World.

North American Release
New Video Group released a full DVD box set on March 11, 2014. It has 8 discs and includes the English dubbed version of the show.
- Starting from episode 30, the show uses a brand new opening sequence. This was the first time a Digimon series changed its opening song completely. The new opening shows the DATS team in their new clothes, the Digivice Burst, Keenan and Falcomon, the Royal Knights, Marcus's father, BanchoLeomon, and lots of action with Mega-level Digimon.
