He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is an exciting animated TV show. It was created by Michael Halperin, who also made the first He-Man series. This show was a fresh new version of the 1980s cartoon. It came out when Mattel brought back the Masters of the Universe toys. The series first aired on Cartoon Network from August 16, 2002, to January 10, 2004.
About the Series
The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe show has two main parts, called seasons.
- Season 1 (2002–2003): This season had 26 episodes. It started on August 16, 2002, and ended on October 11, 2003.
- Season 2 (2003–2004): This season had 13 episodes. It began on October 18, 2003, and finished on January 10, 2004.

Long ago, the evil sorcerer Keldor attacked Eternia. He fought against Captain Randor and the Masters. The Elders of Eternia hid their magic in an orb. They said a hero would rise to protect Eternia. Years later, Prince Adam, King Randor's son, was spoiled. The Sorceress of Castle Grayskull told Adam he was chosen to be He-Man. He would defend Eternia from evil. Keldor, now called Skeletor, attacked the palace. Adam fled to Castle Grayskull with his pet tiger Cringer and Orko. Using the Sword of Power, Adam became He-Man. Cringer became Battle Cat. He-Man helped the Masters fight Skeletor. He saved his father. Adam learned not to reveal his secret identity. Skeletor then planned to destroy He-Man.

Ram-Man attacked her, freeing He-Man. He destroyed the device, freeing everyone. Ram-Man apologized for his rude behavior. Moral: Do not judge or accuse before you know all the facts. |

Teela led the Masters back to Grayskull. After the battle, Teela's powers faded. She was confused about her past. Man-At-Arms realized the Sorceress truly loved Teela. They started stealing shiny things. Evil Lyn used an illusion to draw them to Grayskull. She wanted them to destroy it. He-Man fought the dragons with Teela. The dragons' mother arrived. He-Man recognized her as the dragon he freed. She recognized him and left with her children. Skeletor's warriors attacked. The dragon mother and her children returned. They defeated the villains. Teela wondered why the dragon spared He-Man. Man-At-Arms said kindness inspires kindness. Moral: Kindness is very valuable. |

Marzo regained his true form. He attacked the Royal Palace with rat creatures. Marzo defeated He-Man and the Masters. He released poisonous gas. Mekaneck joined the fight. He used his neck to avoid the gas. He snatched the amulet from Marzo. He-Man threw it away, stopping Marzo. Mekaneck realized Adam was right about him. Moral: Everyone has unique talents. Be the best you can be, not like others. |

He told Orko the creature was Evil Seed. Evil Seed wanted revenge on humans. Moss Man and Orko freed the captives. Orko mentioned Grayskull's power. Evil Seed went to Grayskull. He-Man, Battle Cat, and Moss Man stopped him. Moss Man joined the Masters. Moral: A job worth doing is a job worth doing well. |

Buzz-Off was scolded for seeking revenge. He realized his mistake. Buzz-Off tracked the giants and stole the crystal back. He did not let his pride get in the way. Pinsore summoned venomous Pulmos. They poisoned Man-At-Arms. Teela remembered her father's lessons. She found the cure. He-Man got the cure. Skeletor and Clawful waited for Pinsore to deliver Man-At-Arms, but he failed. Moral: Practice is the key to success. |

Skeletor recruited him. Odiphus's smell overcame the palace defenses. Even He-Man could not get close. Roboto, feeling down, was encouraged by Man-At-Arms. Roboto advised He-Man to destroy Odiphus's mask. Odiphus fled. Skeletor found Odiphus useful. Odiphus, with new armor, became Stinkor. Moral: Learn from your mistakes instead of feeling defeated. |

He-Man tried to stop Two-Bad from getting the pieces. Two-Bad got the first two pieces. They got the final piece. Eternia began to split apart again. He-Man, with help from the Sorceress and the dragon mother, stopped the destruction. He returned the pieces to their hiding places. Sy-Klone felt lonely for his family. He traveled with Roboto to find his ancestors. Sy-Klone realized the Masters were his family now. Moral: People who care deeply for us are like family. Someday, the world could feel like one big family. |

Skeletor's Council of Evil included Count Marzo, Webstor, Evil Seed, and three giants. They knew He-Man would come. He-Man and Battle Cat rode towards Snake Mountain. Part 2: Skeletor watched He-Man approach. He sent the Council of Evil to fight him. The Council overpowered He-Man. Kobra Khan watched them. Man-At-Arms and Roboto contacted Teela. She came to Snake Mountain. He-Man changed back to Prince Adam to escape. Webstor kidnapped Teela. He dropped the Power Sword into a deep hole. Skeletor and the Council went to Grayskull. They wanted its power. Kobra Khan and Rattlor freed the Evil Warriors. Skeletor shattered Grayskull's defenses. The Sorceress was knocked out. Cringer brought Adam to Grayskull. Adam saw vehicles approaching. He thought it was the Masters. But it was the Evil Warriors joining the fight. Adam was greatly outnumbered. |
