The Speaker of the Seimas (which means "Chairman of the Seimas" in Lithuanian) is like the main leader of the Seimas. The Seimas is the parliament of Lithuania, where laws are made.
The Speaker and other deputy speakers are chosen by the members of the Seimas. They are elected during a special meeting of the parliament. The Speaker's job is to make sure meetings run smoothly and fairly.
