The tallest building in Albany is the Erastus Corning Tower. It has 44 floors and stands 610 feet (186 m) tall. It was finished in 1966. This tower is the tallest building in New York State outside of New York City.
The second tallest building is the Alfred E. Smith State Office Building. It is 387 feet (118 m) tall. Four other buildings are tied for third tallest. They are all 310 feet (94 m) tall. These four buildings are part of the Empire State Plaza.
