Surrey is a big city in British Columbia, Canada. It's the second largest city in the Metro Vancouver area and also the second largest in all of British Columbia! Surrey is growing fast, and because of this, it has many tall buildings. There are seven buildings that are taller than 100 m (330 ft) (about 328 feet), including some that are still being built or planned. As of 2019, the tallest building in Surrey is 3 Civic Plaza, which stands 157.3 m (516 ft) (about 516 feet) tall.

The heart of Surrey is called Surrey City Centre. This area has seen a lot of new, tall buildings since the mid-2000s. It has the most high-rise apartment buildings in Metro Vancouver, especially south of the Fraser River. Because so many people are moving to Surrey, Surrey City Centre is planned to become like a second downtown for Metro Vancouver. It will have many office buildings and new developments built close to the SkyTrain, which is a fast train system that runs through the city.
