Where Does It Flow?
Little Buffalo Creek starts in a pond. This pond is located about 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) northwest of a town called Gold Hill, North Carolina. This starting point is in Rowan County.
From there, the creek flows towards the southwest. It then enters Cabarrus County. Little Buffalo Creek eventually joins Dutch Buffalo Creek about 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) northeast of Mount Pleasant.
