Little Creek is a small stream, about 1.61 miles (2.59 km) long, located in Harnett County, North Carolina. It is a "first order" stream, which means it is a very small stream that flows into a larger river. Little Creek flows entirely within Raven Rock State Park, a beautiful natural area.
Where Little Creek Starts and Ends
Little Creek begins its journey about 4 miles (6.4 km) north-northeast of a town called Mamers, North Carolina. This starting point is inside Raven Rock State Park.
From there, the creek flows first towards the northeast and then turns to flow east. It eventually joins the Cape Fear River. The spot where Little Creek meets the Cape Fear River is about 5 miles (8.0 km) west-southwest of Kipling, North Carolina.
