Little Frog Lake is a special kind of lake called an alpine lake. This means it is located very high up in the mountains. It is also a glacial lake, which means it was formed by ancient glaciers. Glaciers are like giant, slow-moving rivers of ice. As they moved, they carved out the land, leaving behind basins that filled with water when the ice melted.
